Timi Dakolo, winner of Idols West Africa is set to hit the music market with the commercial release of his lead single Let It Shine off the much anticipated album. The packaging which is a reflection of the industry’s resolve to curb piracy contains the bonus track Heaven Please.

According to his management, Now Muzik, the debut album-’Beautiful Noise’ will be due for release by the first quarter of 2011. The album, an eleven (11) tracker promises to be off-the-hinges, with major production input from the very intriguing- Cobhams Asuquo, as well as contribution from the Choc Boyz- Jesse Jagz and Mr. Incredible himself (M.I).
As the Nigerian Idol unveils their 10 finalists on the 24th January, 2011, there would be a sneak preview of Timi’s Single – Let It Shine. There is also strong indication he will mentor a contestant as the competition progresses.
Timi Dakolo’s quest for excellence has taken his fame beyond the West African Idol as the Bayelsan born RB Soul singer earlier in 2010, bagged the coveted Hip-Hop World Awards for the Best Recording of the year 2010 with his single- ‘Heaven Please’ featuring MI.
He is set to premier the video of the single Let It Shine as he lights-up the Tribecca stage at the next Industry Nite in February. The captivating performer and singer in conjunction with the recently set-up NOW Muzik in-house band- Gidi Gorgeous, would thrill fans and audiences for the entire night. Timi seems all triggered-up for a breath-taking performance that would be celebrated for a long time coming. His coming album is titled Beautiful Noise.
