Anis Halloway does so brilliantly well hosting the Nigerian Idols that it makes a lot of people forget that he actually came to prominence in Nigeria as a contestant in a singing competition (MTN West African Project Fame season 2) himself and therefore he is an artiste.
The Nigeria-based Sierra Leonean born singer actually started doing music in the UK, a period during which he had a UK underground hit single ‘Eyes on Me’ which was on the Channel U Top ten video charts for weeks sparking media interest with interviews from the likes of BBC 1xtra, RWD magazine, Touch magazine etc.
Moving on, Anis continued on the grind doing work underground with the likes of Silvastone, who is a renown producer/DJ in the UK among other artistes.
Having acquired a wealth of experience between 2001 and 2009, Anis decided to take a trip back to the motherland where he planned to start his African expansion; and indeed not long after he landed, he realized that he stood out as one of the finest artist to hit Sierra Leone for decades.
To buttress this fact Anis qualified to represent Sierra Leone on MTN project fame season 2 West Africa in Nigeria.
