Super Eagles latest addition Joel Obi has admitted his priority is to establish himself in the first team of Italian champions Inter Milan.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who shone like a million stars on his Eagles debut against Sierra Leone recently, told MTNFootball.com he wishes to be playing week in, week out at Inter.
I want to be a super regular at Inter, disclosed Obi, who made his Inter debut in September against Werder Bremen in a UEFA Champions League game.
I also hope to win many laurels with the Super Eagles.
Obi, a product of the Inter youth programme having spent five years through the age-group levels of the Italian giants, will go on to make his Serie A debut in October against city rivals AC Milan.
The Owuachukwu-born attacking midfielder revealed that having featured in the UEFA Champions League and for a great club like Inter Milan, he does not have an inferiority complex on the pitch.
I believe the initial fears and nerves as regards playing among great players in Inter have passed. It has been great to play for this team. I think Inter Milan stars realise and appreciate my talent too and I am happy to play for this team at the moment, he said.
I could be scared by other things but not football. Football is going on the pitch to have your fun, nothing more.
I know I am very young in this game but that doesnt mean that I would be scared of anybody while on the pitch. I go in there and play my football as best as I can.
