Alex O was one of
Nigeria’s hottest RnB and Pop artiste of the 90s.His velvety smooth
voice, good looks, dance steps and perms made him a delight to watch
back in the days. He was known for countless hits such as ‘Banana’, ‘Do
it in the name of love’, ‘Nwadanma’, ‘Celebrate’ amongst many others.
He brought in a new flavour to the pop music industry while his sex
appeal also earned him quite a number of female fans. He remains one of
the forerunners of contemporary music in Nigeria alongside the late
Tyna Onwudiwe, Blackky and Felix Liberty.

his contemporaries, Alex O slowly faded off the scene at the peak of
his career and left the country -moved to Singapore. While in the South
