Italian giants AC Milan have joined the hot chase for Nigeria international striker Emmanuel Emenike.
Emenike, who made his Super Eagles debut against Sierra Leone in February, has attracted the interest of Milan after netting 13 goals thus far for his modest Turkish club Karabukspor.
According to a report by Lig TV, Milan have kept tabs on the big, powerful striker in the last few weeks.
The striker, who will be 24 next month, has so far impressed the Milan scouts who are expected to monitor him till the end of the season.
However, there are yet to be any reports in Italy as regards this Milan interest.
Experts say that as Milan can only buy one non-European Union (EU) player a year, like other Italian clubs, they would most likely settle for a big-name star.
The former FC Cape Town of South Africa star has already attracted several top European clubs including Rubin Kazan in Russia as well as Turkish giants Fenerbache and Galatasaray.
Emenikes goals have dried up recently no thanks to an injury he suffered on his Eagles debut.
Milan already have on their books Nigerian youngster Nnamdi Oduamadi, who recently shone for the countrys Olympic team in a 2012 Olympic qualifier against Equatorial Guinea.
