Ghana giants Asante Kotoko have been handed a tough draw to face Heart of Lions in the quarter final of the MTN Cup.
League leaders Berekum Chelsea were handed a favourable draw with a clash against third tier side Bolga All Stars.
Wa All Stars will play fellow premier league campaigners Medeama in another match of the last eight.
Second tier sides Nania FC and DInternational will clash at the Tema Sports Stadium in the last game of the quarter finals.
But the most attention will be on the Kotoko-Lions game in Kumasi as the two sides have been fighting in recent years to outdo each other.
With Kotoko showing some good form which has seen them move to second place in the league, their teeming supporters expect a win over Lions.
But the Kpando side are confident they can secure victory over the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi.
We have got a good record against Kotoko in recent matches so they should brace themselves for a tough encounter, Desmond Frimpong Manso, the CEO of Heart of Lions said.
The match between Wa All Stars and Medeama in Wa will also be tough as both sides who have performed well in the Premier League are eyeing their first silverware.
Abedi Pele, the Ghana legend, will also be eyeing the first trophy for his club Nania but they face an equally tough side in DInternational.
