Another set of 53 Nigerians were deported from the UK on Thursday after allegedly serving various jail terms for immigration-related offences.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that the deportees arrived at the cargo terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 6am aboard a special flight.
An immigration source at the airport told NAN that the deportees were made up of 41 males and 12 females.
The source disclosed that some of the deportees were brought home in handcuffs amid tight security.
According to the source, who preferred anonymity, the aircraft that brought the deportees had 10 crew members with about 130 escorts.
52 Nigerians were also deported from the UK on Wednesday.
