A middle aged man in Kaduna state has killed a young man, one Yusuf Saidu for allegedly have an affair with his wife.
The deceased was said to be a recruit- trainee of the Nigerian Airforce.
The Kaduna State Police Command has begun investigation and is trailing the man who is said to be on the run after he allegedly killed the young man with pestle.
LEADERSHIP investigation revealed that the man hit the deceased several times with the pestle on his head, in a path way at night.
Spokesperson of the Police, DSP Aminu Lawal, confirmed the occurrence to LEADERSHIP, and added that the man was on the run while his wife was invited for interrogation.
The deceased elder sister Bara’atu Saidu in tears said “I was with him that very night around 7pm when he received a phone call and all of a sudden he went out. I enquire to know why he left his training and came home but he said that they have not started full training only for me to hear that there was problem.
“I received a call from an unknown number that I should come back home, when I got there I saw Yusuf a pool of his own blood surrounded . I called his name he did not respond and we rushed him to the hospital. I could not imagine what the man was thinking that made him take such a drastic decision on my late brother. What will Yusuf do with a woman with five children, a woman that is as old as his mother. There is no way we will forgive his killer.”
LEADERSHIP was also told that the woman in question told the Police that there was no affair between her and the deceased, and that her husband acted out of his own volition.
