The Chairman of Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Zakari Dobi, has approved the appointment of Malam Mohammed Sidi, as the new Clerk of the legislative arm of the council.
The senior special assistant on media and publicity, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, told newsmen that the appointment of the new clerk was as a result of the vacuum created by the exit of the former clerk, Mrs. Amina Solomon, who was appointed as acting head of personnel of the council.
The chairman also said that the former head of personnel management of the council, Musa Sarki, is now the acting head of administration, to replace late Ms. Rebecca Kure, who died after a protracted illness two months ago.
The council boss advised called on the newly appointed Clark of legislative council to exhibit all sense of commitment, dedication and loyalty in the discharge of his duties.
