England-based duo of Victor Anichebe and John Mikel Obi are the first to arrive the camp of Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Abuja. Anichebe and Mikel arrived the team’s camp on Sunday ahead of the September 4 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Madagascar. Others who followed suit are Emmanuel Emenike and Danny Shittu.
Other invited players are expected to join up before expiration date this morning. “John Mikel Obi and Victor Anichebe are the first two to arrive Super Eagles hotel. Most players came in yesterday afternoon.
Among those that arrived to beat the deadline are Real Zaragoza forward, Ikechukwu Uche and Fengor Ogude of Valerenga. Warri Wolves’ goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim also hit the team’s camp after featuring in a friendly against Ashante Kotoko on Sunday.
Others are Elderson Echiejile, Joseph Yobo, Efe Ambrose, Dele Adeleye, Danny Shittu, Vincent Enyeama and Dele Aiyenugba.
Joel Obi, Kalu Uche, Nosa Igiebor, Yusuf Ayila, Obinna Nsofor, Emmanuel Emenike, Solomon Okoronkwo, Peter Utaka, Chinedu Ogbuke, Brown Ideye and Ahmed Musa are all being expected to arrive in the team’s camp latest today.
