Benue State governor, Mr. Gabriel Suswam, and his counterparts Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Ibrahim Shehu Shema (Katsina), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Rochas Okorocha (Imo) and Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun) will today present Nigeria business and development opportunities at the Woodrow Wilson International Centre in Washington DC, USA.
This symposium, which is the third event in the series of Woodrow Wilson International Centre, Constituency for Africa , will be highlighting the diversity of the Nigerian business sector and opportunities for investment and development.
The discussion will focus on the new business, investment, and development opportunities that exist and are rapidly emerging in Nigeria outside of the traditional sphere of natural resource exploitation.
This forum will highlight the business sectors in which Governors Suswam, Amaechi, Imoke, Okorocha, Shema and Amosun are focused on in their states, with particular emphasis on direct investment, trade, and development.
It will be moderated by a former US ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Robin Sanders.
In a statement, the organisers of the event hailed Governor Suswam for encouraging potential investors to explore commercial agriculture, timber exploitation and fishing in Benue State.
