President Goodluck Jonathan has called on the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) to ensure that it addresses developmental challenges and proffer solutions.
The president who was represented by the Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen, stated this yesterday at the 2nd professional summit of APBN.
He commended the association for organising the summit at a time when the federal government was to transform the nation’s economy.
“You are therefore to appraise the causes of our current developmental challenges and proffer technically sound solutions to improve on services in the building, construction, manufacturing, power and social sectors. Government therefore expects a communiqué that will be supportive, and transformational to our developmental plans,” he said.
He added that government would continue to create an enabling environment for investors who are willing to partner with their local counterparts in building an egalitarian society for the citizenry.
