Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) Youth Leader in Kogi State, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu, has declared that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would be sent packing in the December governorship election in the state.
Speaking in a telephone interview with LEADERSHIP in Lokoja, Prince Salisu posited that the people of the state knew where to go in the coming poll and the implication of allowing the PDP to continue in office in the next dispensation.

He added that the electorate was now looking up to the opposition to salvage the state because it was presenting a credible candidate like Chief James Ocholi (SAN), and pointed out that the CPC standard bearer had a programme that would speedily transform the state.
He further expressed confidence that with the increasing level of support across the state for Chief Ocholi, the CPC would overwhelmingly win the December 3 governorship election.

Salisu described Ocholi as an upright politician and stated that if he won the forthcoming election, the state would witness a new dawn where everybody would be carried along in the task of rebuilding the state.
He disclosed that the CPC had mapped out strategies aimed at capturing power through the ballot box, saying the sensitization programme towards that effect would commence in few days time.

The youth leader called on the electorate not to mortgage their future by electing credible personalities that would turn around the fortune of the state, and maintained that Kogi would be cynosure of all eyes with Chief Ocholi at the helm of affairs.
While calling on the electoral umpire to improve on its performance in the April polls, to pave way for the emergence of true representatives of the people, the youth leader warned youths to work towards the success of the forthcoming exercise.
