The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ekiti State chapter is set to re-admit Mr Ayodele Fayose into its fold once again at the state level after the former governor said he was ready to agree to any conditions the party sets for his comeback bid.
Fayose, who rejoined the party he left about two years ago at his Afao Ekiti country home, stated that he was ready to abide by the terms if only to return to the party that gave him fame and fortune.
Addressing newsmen at a rally organised by the party in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, Fayose emphasised? he was ready to align with the efforts of the state executive members towards repositioning the party.
He said the event was part of the moves by the stakeholders of the party to strengthen and to ensure the progress of the party in Ekiti State.
“This is a peaceful time in the party and I want to say that there is no problem or any form of acrimony in the party. Though, technical issues need to be resolved within the party, it is to put things aright through due process.
“I am joining forces with the state executives to make the party stronger. The crowd on ground as you can see attest to the fact that the party is still a force to reckon with in Ekiti State,” Fayose said.
