The Northern Governors, Forum (NGF) has condoled with the Yobe State Governor Ibrahim Gaidam? over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab.
Governor of Niger State and chairman of the forum, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, urged Gaidam and members of the family to be encouraged by the fact that though his late wife died at a young age of 32, she lived an inspiring and a fulfilled life.
“You must take solace from the fact that your wife departed after an enterprising life of dedication to service of humanity, Aliyu said in a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Malam Danladi Ndayebo.
Governor Aliyu said life was not about how long people lived, but how they impacted positively on the environment around them. He noted that though Hajiya Zainab lived a short life, she brought change to her immediate family, her community, and the people of Yobe, especially women and children.
The forum urged Gaidam to be consoled by the fact that no living soul shall escape the ravages of death, describing death as a necessary end that would come when it would.
The forum prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family and people of Yobe State the fortitude to bear the loss.
