Nasarawa Royal Father Queried

A first class traditional ruler, in Nasarawa State, the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah, was on Saturday invited to Government House, Lafia, to answer a query over his role in the just concluded tribunal judgment that favoured the incumbent governor, Umaru Tanko Al-makura.
?

A source in the government house who craved anonymity, told LEADERSHIP that the royal father, who is a son in-law to the immediate past governor of the state, Aliyu Akwe Doma, allegedly wrote letters to some powerful traditional rulers in the far northern part of the country to intervene in the tribunal ruling of last Saturday, to favour his father in-law.
?

He also personally visited some of the traditional rulers on the same matter, to speak with the President to intervene in the tribunal ruling in favour the ex-governor.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the traditional ruler’s moves did not go down well with the government of Al-makura, who has since assumption of office, kept traditional rulers at arms length because of their refusal to support him during his campaign.
?

Traditional rulers in the state during the campaigns, either refused to welcome the incumbent governor and his campaign team, or told him to his face that they were with the ex-governor, Doma.
