?Mobilises support for Wada – President Goodluck Jonathan has said that his administration is still committed to establishing a viable and functional steel industry in Nigeria.
Jonathan, who spoke at a meeting with Kogi State Governor Ibrahim Idris and other state government official, noted that the federal government was still doing everything possible to make the Ajaokuta Steel Complex fully operational .
Also speaking at a rally for Captain Idris Wada, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Saturday election in the state, Jonathan urged the party faithful to vote for Wada and his running mate Mr. Yomi Awoniyi.
Vice-President Namadi Sambo, Senate President, David Mark, the PDP national chairman, Kawu Baraje and other important personalities also gave goodwill messages at the occasion.
