The Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Dr Sa’ad Abubakar, has said that the effort of the present administration in transforming the nation through rehabilitation and restructuring of national edifices is a demonstration of the federal government’s commitment to the well-being of Nigerians.
Speaking at the commissioning of the rehabilitated Hajj Terminal of the Kaduna International Airport yesterday, the sultan said the effort of the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Odua, in renovating the Hajj was an inspiration to leaders to always put national interest above personal interest.
He urged the minister to continue to do what was right in the service of fatherland, adding that the National Hajj Commission and, indeed, the entire Muslim Ummah appreciated her effort in contributing to smooth hajj operations.
“The Muslim community too is contributing to the development of aviation agencies. We urge the minister, her ministry and other aviation agencies to redouble their efforts, work harder and make sure that all the agencies are brought up to their optimal performance, and we believe that with the stand of the minister who believes in efficiency, this will be achieved in no time.
