The governorship flag bearer of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) for the February 11th governorship election in Bayelsa State, Comrade Famous Danemoughan yesterday faulted the position of Pastor Tunde Bakare and Malam Nasir el-Rufai on the removal of fuel subsidy.
Danemuaghan, who led other leaders of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) on a pro-subsidy rally through streets of Yenagoa on Wednesday, said though the positions presented by Bakare and El-Rufai, were done as individuals with freedom of expression, it was misplaced, wrong and not that of the the CPC.
He? said the party was silent on the issue because they consider that such policy could have been possible if they had won the 2011 Presidential Polls in order to tackle corruption and increase development in most parts of the country.
