It was no surprise that Nigerians came out en masse to support the call to mass protest by labour and other civil society groups in the country, which lasted for five days, bringing? the Nation’s economy to a standstill.
Mo Hits chief and Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label producer, Michael Collins Elebeli, aka Don Jazzy, said on his tweeter page “the God that we serve sees all what happens behind closed doors. One day, breeze go blow and fowl * go open. Dem say strike is over. Hmm”
Reacting to questions on tweeter from his fans he said:
‘if you tweet, it stays online. I tweet and it ends up in a newspaper in Aso Rock. And I did the best I could. You want me to now over do?”

Hip hop icon and the streets voice social crusader Eedris Abdulkareem tweeted: ‘WE ARE WORRIORS, REVOLUTIONERS (sic) and FREEDOM FIGHTERS… If? you hate me for that then it’s on you.’
