Former Governor of Kano State, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to as a matter of urgency, act decisively on the state of insecurity in the country.
“Nigerians are still going through a period of grief and mourning and the federal government is yet to decisively address the issues to stem the ill-fated trend facing the nation”, the former governor noted.
Malam Shekarau also sympathized with the people of Kano and Nigerians over the last Friday’s spate of bomb blasts and destruction of properties, describing the incident as “shocking and devastating on the thoughts of Kano people”. “The incident has “devastated our thoughts and traumatized our existence”, he said.
