A group, the Peoples’ Rights Organisation (PRO), has appealed to the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi to assist it recover 300 vehicles belonging to its members seized by officials of the Rivers State Road Traffic Management Authority (TIMA-RIV).
President of the Organisation, Mr. Chris Nwadigo, who stated this at a news conference attended by over 500 members of the body in Port Harcourt, the State capital, yesterday, lamented the activities of the traffic agency which has become a source of worry to operators of both commercial and private vehicle.
Nwadogo disclosed that already the organisation has declared seven days fasting and prayer to facilitate the release of the vehicles by the state governor.
