Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has enjoined Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of tolerance and love for one another, saying there are enough examples for mankind to learn from the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.
In a message to commemorate this year’s Maulud Nabiyy issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public? Affairs, Imam Imam and made available to LEADERSHIP SUNDAY, Tambuwal said tolerance and love for one another are essential components needed for the building of peaceful and stable societies.
He said Nigerians should use this year’s celebration to pray for the country, adding that they should also reflect on the ideas of peace, unity, harmony and selflessness taught by all religions in order to build a stable nation.
“With peace, tolerance and brotherly love, we can build a country of our dream. We should therefore eschew all forms of vices as we continue our march towards unity, development and self sustenance,” Tambuwal said.
