Niger State Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu has described the death of Chairman and co-founder of Dantata and Sawoe, Alhaji Abdulkadir Dantata, as the exit of a titan, calling his death a great loss to the construction industry, Nigeria and humanity.
In a statement issued in Minna by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Danladi Ndayebo, Governor Aliyu said through his construction company and Asada Farms, the late Dantata touched the lives of many people in a positive way.
“Over the years, Dantata and Sawoe impacted positively on the lives of Nigerians through the construction of several hundreds of kilometres of highways and township roads and dozens of bridges and flyovers across the nation,” the statement said.
The governor further remarked that Dantata lived an exemplary life of selfless service, entrepreneurship, uncommon humility and absolute faith in God.
The statement said one of the best tributes that can be paid to the memory of the late Dantata is for the managers of his construction firm to continue to work hard to maintain and protect his legacy.
It prayed Allah to grant the soul of the departed Aljannah Firdaus and members of the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
