Various civil society groups that monitored the just concluded gubernatorial election in Adamawa State have commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on what they called drastic improvements witnessed in the recent gubernatorial elect ion in the state and charged the commission to take further step to right the lapses observed in the election with a view to improve them in future elections.
The groups made this position known? while giving their preliminary reports of the just concluded election to journalists in Yola,? yesterday.
On its part? the Cleen Foundation, which? promotes public safety, security and accessible justice, particularly commended the democratic attitude demonstrated by the security agents throughout the election period, describing it as unprecedented and moral boaster to the integrity and image of the security agencies especially the Nigeria Police Force.
