There was a low turnout of voters on Saturday, as Bayelsa State gubernatorial elections commenced.
At unit 13, Otazi Playground which is President Jonathan's polling unit , only 124 voters were accredited out of the 857 registered voters.
Scores of residents were reportedly confused on the conduct of the election due to conflicting reports about Court order.
President Goodluck Jonathan,who cast his vote at about 12.45pm attributed the low turnout to the confusion created by the crisis within the PDP and the misplaced report about the purported Court order stopping the Governorship poll.
