The Nasarawa State Government is set to collaborate with the CBN in agricultural financing inorder to boost agricultural production.
This was made known by Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura at the 2011 annual dinner and award ceremony organised by the CBN in? conjunction with the banks in the state.
The ceremony featured a presentation of awards to the state governor who was represented by the attorney general of the state, Muhammed Abdulahi and also the speaker, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammed in appreciation of their service to humanity and their contribution to the smooth operation of CBN in the state.
The governor urged the CBN to invest in the state through the granting of loans to farmers. The speaker on his part congratulated the CBN for achieving a lot in its one year of existence in the state and urged it to invest in the area of mineral development in the state.
