The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) yesterday in Lagos urged? President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that the planned? reduction in the 2012? federal budget would translate into meaningful development.
The President of CITN, Mr Sunday Femi Jegede, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) while commenting on N400 billion reduction in the budget estimate now before the National Assembly.
He said it would be a welcome development, since the cut would be aimed at reducing the deficit to manageable level.
