The condolence register opened by the Nigeria Army for the late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, was received in Enugu on Monday, with principal officers of the 82 Division, Enugu, signing it.
In his remark, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) the division, Maj.-Gen. Olayinka Oshinowo, wished the late war lord a rest in peace.
Other principal officers also signed the register at a brief ceremony at the headquarters of the division.
The register will be handed over to the family of the late Odumegwu-Ojukwu, according to an official of the division.
Ojukwu served as a military administrator of the old Eastern Region with head quarters in Enugu before he led the defunct Biafra in a 30-month civil war. (NAN)
