Gov. Henry Dickson of Bayelsa has appointed Mr Stanley Damabide, a former Chairman of the state chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), as Senior Special Assistant, Legal Matters.
The news of the appointment is contained in a statement signed by Mr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Public Affairs, in Yenagoa on Monday.
It also said the governor also approved the appointment of Mr Jacob Beredugo, who would be working with Damabide as Senior Special Assistant, Legal Matters II.
Other appointments are that of Mr Kemasuode Wodu, as Special Adviser on Legal Matters and Chief Counsel to the Governor.
Others are Mr Gibson Ikpaikpai and Cyril Akika as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Finance and Budget and Senior Special Assistant on Investment respectively.
The statement also announced the appointment of Mr Tamarakare Yekwe as the Governor’s Special Representative, FCT and Boma Spero-Jack as Senior Special Assistant on Security.
The statement said that all the appointments are with immediate effect.
It will be recalled that Dickson has within two weeks of his administration, appointed more than 15 political aides and heads of government agencies and parastatals.?
