Nigeria will be unveiling a newly designed jersey by kit sponsors adidas when they face Rwanda in Kigali on Wednesday in their 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. ?

From agreements reached with the sportswear company, adidas will continue to maintain their part of the bargain for the national teams and they want to use the first competitive match under new coach Stephen Keshi to unveil the new design for the national team, ahead of their encounter against the Wasps on Wednesday.

At the weekend, equipment manager Chidi Ngoka and team scribe Dayo Achor Enebi took delivery of the jerseys.

“It's a new year and we are happy with the new kits and we hope to celebrate the new design with a victory in Kigali,” Enebi said in a statement.

All the players and officials received the new sets of jerseys with glee and the hope is that it will bring good tidings to the team.

“These kits are simply wonderful and Nigerians should pray that we come out victorious in the new kits because we have prepared well enough for the match”, declared team coordinator Emmanuel Atta. ?
