Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has assured that his victory at the Supreme Court on the governorship legal tussle with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finally marked the end of an era of darkness in the State.
The Governor, who addressed a cross section of Imo people at the Government House shortly on arrival from Abuja, described the saga as a spiritual battle that has ushered in illuminating light in the State.
With intermittent songs of praise to God over his victory which he noted began from May 6, 2011 when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him Governor to the protracted legal battle to the Supreme Court, Gov. Okorocha said that the victory was not of his making but that of God who gives power and authority to whom he pleases.
He also gave the assurance that the State must be better and shines as one of the best in the country under his administration.
