The Nigerian Air Force on Tuesday announced the deployment of six senior officers.
This was contained in a statement signed by Air Commodore Yusuf Anas, the Director, Air Force Public Relations and Information.
According to the statement, AVM Alex Badeh is now the new Air Officer Commanding Training Command Kaduna.
He replaced late AVM Ibrahim Salihu, who died on Feb.15, 2012 after a brief illness.
AVM Gbolahan Adekunle, formerly Chief of Training and Operations at the NAF Headquarters, was redeployed as Chief of Policy and Plans.
Similarly, AVM Isiyaku Umar, former Director of Operations at NAF Headquarters is now the Chief of Training and Operations, while AVM Aminu Adamu, formerly Director, Research and Development, Defence Headquarters, is now the Senior Air Staff Officer, Training Command, Kaduna.
Also affected in the redeployment is AVM Christian Chukwu, the former Senior Air Staff Officer Training Command Kaduna, who is now the Director of Operations at NAF Headquarters.
Similarly, AVM James Gbum, former Commander 75 Strike Group, was redeployed to Defence Headquarters as the Director, Research and Development.
The statement also announced the promotion of seven Master Warrant Officers to Air Warrant Officers.
They are:? Ngwoke A, Akinyemi K.S, Alikali I, Otoide S.E, Gaiya M.F, Babale J.M. and Sokowar J.A.
The statement said the new officers had been decorated with their new ranks by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mohammed Umar.
