The Federal Government on Tuesday in Abuja announced the redeployment of 14 Permanent Secretaries and the appointment of two new ones.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Tope Ajakaiye, Deputy Director (Press & Public Relations) on behalf of the Head of the Civil Service of Federation.
The posting is as follows: Alhaji Sheidu Ozigis moves from Interior to Niger Delta Affairs, while Prof. Nicholas Damachi goes from Education to the Ministry of Defence.
Mr Emmanuel Ogbile, formerly at Lands, Housing and Urban Development, goes to State House while? Mr Linus Awute of Defence moves to Interior.
Dr Ben Ibe of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation is redeployed to Education, while Mrs Ibukun Odusote moves Power to Environment.
Mr Anthony Ozidinobi moves from Labour and Productivity to the Federal Capital Territory, while Dr Dere Awosika of? Science and Technology goes to Power.
Alhaji Mohammed Bashar of Environment moves to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (Common Service Office), while Alhaji I. Mahe of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Political Affairs Office) moves to Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
Mrs Rabi Jimeta, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties) goes to Science and Technology while Alhaji Atiku Kigo, formerly of Niger-Delta Ministry moves to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Mrs A Daniel Nwaobia of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation is now Permanent Secretary, Culture, Tourism and National Orientation.
The two newly-appointed permanent secretaries are Alhaji Aliyu Isma’ila Numan who is posted to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation? (Political/Economic Affairs Office), and Mr Ossi George Afamefuna, who is deployed to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties).
The statement added that the Head of Service had directed that all handing and taking over formalities be completed on or before Friday March 30.
