Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, yesterday inspected the Divisional Police Headquarters at Ukpor, Nnewi South, which was damaged during an attack by armed robbers.
Governor Obi, who was conducted round the damaged station, by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP, Jacob Muri, said security remains a top priority of his administration.
He reinstated his resolve to continue to work closely with the Police and other security agencies to achieve the set goals.
Obi also assured the people of Anambra State of his resolve to tackle resurgence of armed robbery in the State as indicated by the recent attacks.
He said that, his government would rebuild the station and fence it for greater security, just as he has resolved to take other serious measures to curb insecurity.
