Nigeria’s Vice President, Namadi Sambo on Monday night arrived in the U. S. for the annual conference of Export-Import Bank.
The North America Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Vice president who came in? aboard a presidential aircraft? arrived at the Andrew Airforce Base at about 8 p.m.
?He was received on arrival by the Nigeria’s Ambassador to the U. S, Prof. Ade Adefuye, Mr Habib Habu, Consul General of Nigeria in New York and other senior officials of the embassy in Washington.
The North America correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports? the Vice President? is expected to? be hosted to a private dinner by the President of U.S. EXIM Bank, Fred Hochberg.
He is also billed to meet with Nigerians in Diaspora at a Town Hall meeting at the Nigeria Embassy on April 13.
The annual conference will be attended by state governors, senior government officials and representatives of Nigerian companies seeking to partner with their American counterparts. (NAN)
