Irked by the recent bombing of innocent Nigerians in Kaduna and Yobe States during the Easter celebrations, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Mike Ahamba has attributed the persistent attacks by the Boko Haram sect to a lack of commitment on the part of the police and others charged with the safety of lives of the citizens of the country.
Speaking exclusively to LEADERSHIP, yesterday, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria who condemned the recent bomb blasts stressed that the removal of security chiefs would not solve the security problems in the country but total commitment on the part of the police and other security agencies.
According to Ahamba, nobody has justified the rationale behind the removal of top security officials from their positions? in the past.
“That is the way Nigeria does things, when somebody is not functioning well in a position, you give a justification for his removal and not just removing him,” Ahamba noted.
He pleaded with the sect to stop the wanton destruction of human lives for no just cause, and added that no cause could justify the reckless? destruction of?? human life.
