The spokesman for the Special Task Force on Jos crisis,Captain. Mdahlelya Markus said that the Tudun Wada explosive went off at about 9.45 pm as viewers were coming out of the centre after watching the ongoing European Champions League match between Chelsea and Barcelona.
Markus said that three people sustained injuries not from the blast, but from the stampede after the device exploded.
He said that the only dead person was found with a deep cut on his stomach some few metres from the spot and added that angry youths later attempted to barricade the road, but were dispersed by security men.
Markus warned residents of the state not to take the laws into their hands, but to allow security agencies to do their job.
