Bring Your Grievances To National Assembly, Tambuwal Urges Nigerians

Amidst repeated bombings in the country and calls for disintegration, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has asked Nigerians to bring their areas of grievances to the National Assembly for appropriate action.

Speaking at the 50th birthday anniversary of the Chairman/Editor-in-Chief of LEADERSHIP Newspapers in Abuja, yesterday, Tambuwal assured Nigerians that as lawmakers, they were poised to work for the good of Nigerians and Nigeria.

He said, “If for any reason, our leaders or any member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have any issue that they will want us to address, they should draw our attention to it, we are ready, we are available, we are amenable to listen to the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians and I assure you that we will continue to be guided by the feelings and yearnings of Nigerians”.

Continuing, he stated: “We in the House of Representatives are very much conscious of our place in the history of this country and that’s why we have chosen to be doing what we are doing and we seek for your prayers and understanding so that we can continue to do what we believe is good for this country”.

The Speaker who wished the celebrant well on his birthday, concluded, “Sam, I congratulate you, I wish you well and may the Almighty God continue to guide you.”
