Pillars, who will be hosting Rangers for the week 26 of NPL clash today vowed to outclass the visiting team and pick up the victory in order to boost their points, even though they are a hard nut? to crack.
The club expressed dissatisfaction over their recent poor performance, promising to bounce back in form very soon. It has also boasted that their two or three matches will certainly make them assume their leading position on the log, believing that they will win the three consecutive matches.
Pillars Media Officer, Idris Malikawa, who spoke to LEADERSHIP SPORTS on phone, disclosed that it is not the time to apportion blames, admitting that the club has slacked off in the recent past but their slackness should not be imputed to anybody.
Malikawa said that they have no reason to slack, having received adequate financial assistance and other necessary aids from the state government, reiterating the club’s pledge to bounce back in a couple of shakes.
“I must admit that beating Rangers will not be cinch. It is going to be a herculean task. Obviously, Rangers are a very good side and that is why they? are NPL table leaders.
But I want to assure you that we will strive to pick three points because that is a very crucial match for us. We are not supposed to slack, having all the necessary aids at our beck and call, but we must bounce back and assume our leading position,” he boasted.?
