Ninety-one ships carrying various consignments of goods are expected to berth at Lagos ports from Tuesday.
The Shipping Position, a document of the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), released in Lagos on Tuesday indicated that 22 of the ships were carrying about 450,000 metric tonnes of rice.
Some of the vessels carrying rice are expected to berth at the terminals of? Greenview Development Nigeria Ltd., ENL and Apapa Bulk Terminal Ltd.
The ports will also receive 15 vessels carrying 6,525 units of automobiles, comprising 1,425 units of used vehicles and 5,100 units of new vehicles.
Similarly, 18 vessels carrying 363,798 metric tonnes of petrol are expected to discharge at the ports.
Also expected at the ports are 22 tankers carrying 401,898 metric tonnes petrol, diesel, Jet A1 and ethanol.
