The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna State, Rev.? Samuel Kujiyat, on Monday urged the people in the north to resolve the on going crises in? the region.
Kujiyat, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday, described the Sunday bombing of three churches in Zaria and Kaduna as “horrible incidents.''
?“People of goodwill should come together and sincerely find solution to the lingering crisis in the region.''
?He said the North, which is the biggest loser and the people, irrespective of their faith, should come together and fight the menace of Boko Haram.
Kujiyat said the ongoing attacks on churches by bombers was a deliberate move to plunge the nation to a civil war.
“It is a direct move to put Nigeria to religious war. The explosion causes reprisal attacks, if there are no bombings, there will be no reprisal.''
The CAN chief urged people not to be used to cause disaffection among the various tribes and religions in the country.
The Chairman also urged the faithful to be guided by the teachings of the Holy books, the Bible and the Qur'an for them to live peacefully with one another.
