A frontline member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kabba/Bunu local government of Kogi State, Aliu Raphael Olorunpomi, was on Saturday abducted by five armed men who stormed his Happy Hour Parks & Garden in Kabba, Kogi State.
Olorunpomi’s son, Segun, who was also a victim of the attack, said the five gun men gained access into the garden by scaling the rear fence.
He narated the incident: “They ordered us to lie down with our faces on the ground. We obeyed them. Then they asked us who the owners of the? cars parked in the lot were. We kept quiet and they threatened to kill all of us if we did not? talk. My daddy now offered them the key of his car, urging them not to kill anybody.
“They collected the key and ordered him to the car. They asked him if the car has a security lock and my daddy answered in the negative. They asked him to go into the car and drove away with him. We have not seen or heard from him since yesterday night.”
Segun urged all Nigerians, particularly the security agents, to help in locating his father wherever his abductors might have taken him.
