The Nasarawa State Community and Social Development Agency, plans?to disburse?N126 million to 14 communities across the state for various micro projects.
The General Manager of the agency, Mrs Asibi Omeri-Ogabo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)?on Friday in Lafia, that the?communities had already been sensitised on how to manage the funds.
He said the communities were trained at a workshop on the implementation, management and sustainability of the programme.
She said all the communities would get N9 million each and were?expected to contribute N1 million as part of their commitment.
“Each?community will be given N9 million for the execution of at least three micro projects of their choice,”?Omeri-Ogabosaid.
She said the beneficiaries?included Agwatashi in Obi, Azara in Awe, Amiri and Wujin in Keana, Sankara and Assakio in Lafia and Dawaki in Doma local government areas.?(NAN)
