“We are aware of the governor’s intention to destroy the PDP at the local government? level, but thank God? for the resilient? council chairmen? we have in the state,”? Akobundu said.
He further told members of the party to eschew violence in their bid to having a proper reinstatement of the council chairmen, just as he added that what the state is experiencing presently is a constitutional crisis that needed to be handled lawfully.
Akobundu assured that the PDP would do everything possible within the ambit of the law to see that the council chairmen are reinstated.
In his remark, state chairman of the party, Eze? Duruihuoma,? urged all the members of the party to be?? law abiding.
