The Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi-led House of Representatives Ad Hoc committee that investigated the remote and immediate causes of the near collapse of Nigeria’s Capital Market yesterday laid its report before the Lower House.
?The speaker, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal? receiving the report said? Tomorrow (Thursday) is fixed for the clause by clause consideration of the report by members.
The eight-man Ad Hoc committee that probed the capital market replaced the erstwhile Herman Hembe-led standing committee on capital market after the latter was consumed by a N44 million bribery allegation by the suspended Director General of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) Arunma Oteh.
