The Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF), has paid tribute to the Vice President, Architect Muhammad Namadi Sambo, who turned 60 today, and said that the nation’s number two man has lived a life totally committed to the socio-economic progress of Nigeria and Nigerians.
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Niger State, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, described VP Sambo as a man whose life was devoted to the pursuit of excellence and good governance which have impacted positively on the lives of Nigerians.?
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo, Governor Aliyu said that the former Kaduna helmsman had a distinguished carreer in the construction industry and went on to preside over the Capital of the defunct Northern region during which period he showed rare vision, courage and exemplary leadership.
The statement recalled that “as member of the Northern States Governors Forum, VP Sambo contributed to major decisions of the forum which brought succour and prosperity to our people.”
