Speaker of the House Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal , the National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd); including Minister for Youth Development Barrister Inuwa Abdilkadir on yesterday visited the? scene of last week’s Bomblast that killed Four in Sokoto while several others wounded.
However, Speaking in Sokoto yesterday, the Speaker, Aminu Tawbuwal told the governor that they were in sokoto to commiserate with victims through the governor on the incident that occurred which led the death of four persons while several other injured.
He described the incident as a national tragedy, despite the peaceful nature of sokoto.
In his word: “It is on this note, me and the entire members of the National Assembly from the state agreed to come and commiserate with you over the incident that claimed lives and property”.
Although, during the courtesy, call the National Adviser on Security, (NSA)Col. Sambo Dasuki, (rtd) who is among the entourage, did not commented.
Hon. Aminu said that the people of Sokoto have the culture of embracing any citizen of the country, explaining that “this has now affected our record been the most peaceful state in the federation.
He urged the governor that the nature which the state is been known with would be maintained in the interest of peace.
He also called on Muslim Ummah to pray for the country (Nigeria) to remain peaceful and united in order to bring development closer to the people.
In his remark, the Governor? Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, however, described what happened in the state, as criminal act, saying that “such challenges would be overcome by the grace of God”
According to the Governor, who noted that “reasons of the attack people should not hide under? religion and cause disharmony among us.”
However, he called for prayers, so that the state would regain and maintain its peaceful nature.
