Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Nigerians to cast their burdens unto God as Nigeria will surely go higher.
Adeboye made the call on Friday night in a sermon at the 60th?Annual Convention of the Church held at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan expressway. ?
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the week long event began on Monday with the theme: “Coming up Higher’’.
The cleric said that “Coming up Higher’’ could be an invitation or a command and urged Nigerians to “be willing to get to the top and be willing to obey and have faith in the God.
“Nigerians should have the power to deal with the forces that can bring us down.
“Coming up Higher can be an invitation or a command from somebody that is higher than you, the person must have the ability to help you climb higher.
“If we must get to the top, we must have faith in God, who is the God of all flesh, will never leave us or forsake us.’’
The pastor said that during his 70th?birthday anniversary, he asked God to give 70,000 women the fruit of the womb “and 68 babies were delivered during the weeklong convention, with 34 boys and 34 girls.’’
The general overseer said that the RCCG has branches in 160 countries, adding that many more would be established in other countries.
