National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, said, yesterday, that the? administration of Governor Olusegun Mimiko has brought positive changes to the state capital Akure and the entire Ondo State.
This was even as he described Mimiko’s humility and accessibility to the people as unique.
The CAN President said these during the tour of projects so far executed by the Mimiko administration with other members of the CAN executive.
The CAN executive members were in Ondo State for the National Executive Council Conference of the association taking place in Akure, the State capital.
Oritsejafor said that Ondo State has changed from what it was in the past and pointed out the noticeable positive changes as one enters Akure.
“There are differences in Ondo State from what it used to be in the past. We feel the difference as we entered Ondo State.
People outside Ondo State heard what you are doing. All executive members approved Ondo State as host of this conference in our last meeting in Akwa Ibom of all the states in South West,” said the CAN President.
Oritsejefor who doubles as the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) said that he and others are happy for Governor Mimiko and prayed that God should give him more grace to do more for the people of the State.
He posited that the Conference will bring more blessing to Ondo State.
Governor Mimiko, while receiving the visitors in his office earlier on Tuesday commended the leadership of churches in Nigeria for their maturity in facing the challenges that they are facing and appealed that the church should continue in their prayers for Nigeria and President Goodluck Jonathan.
